MARKET AT 7
Good evening. Wall Street keeps setting records, and tonight a twenty-year power deal was the main driver instead of an earnings beat. Google locked in Constellation Energy for the next twenty years, and Australian uranium miners priced it in before most of Sydney had its coffee.

Wall Street hits record, Australian uranium miners surge, as Google locks in $4.3bn nuclear deal
The S&P 500 closed at a record 7,818.93 on Tuesday, up 0.58%, while the Nasdaq Composite added 0.45% to a fresh record 27,599.79 and the Dow rose 0.49% to 51,521.28, Yahoo Finance and TheStreet report. The spillover hit Australia before Wall Street had even opened. Materials fell 0.6% overall as lithium stocks gave back recent gains, Core Lithium down 6.6% and Liontown off 3.6%, while the 30-year bond yield hit 5.88%, its highest since the benchmark launched in October 2016. THE MARKET WRAP

OUR TAKE:
Tonight's board has one story underneath five different tickers: the AI buildout is now a power and infrastructure trade, not just a chip trade, and it's pulling two different costs in opposite directions at once.
Wall Street and Australian uranium miners got the good version tonight, a twenty-year contract locking in cheap, guaranteed power for decades. Infratil in New Zealand got the other version, a markdown because the cost of borrowing to build the very same kind of asset just went up. Same boom, different side of the ledger.
